Our Mission

Dangwa Initiative is a faith-based humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower and restore dignity to AIDS orphan girls and women in resource-limited settings who have been made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS thru provision of tangible and culturally sensitive resources.

Through education and awareness, we seek to debunk the myth: sex with a virgin cures AIDS. Our ultimate goal is to build the capacity of rural communities to be able to take care of their own and break the dependency syndrome.
